
INDIANAPOLIS — A tornado watch has been issued for the majority of Indiana as dangerous storms sweep across the state.
According to the Indianapolis office of the National Weather Service, the watch covers areas including Indianapolis, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Kokomo, Fort Wayne and South Bend. The watch also covers portions of Illinois and Michigan.
The office said the watch is valid until 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Officials with the office said that Wednesday could bring:
- A few tornadoes
- Scattered hail up to ping pong size
- Scattered gusts up to 75 mph.
