The agenda includes discussion of an ordinance making recommendations for short term rentals for resorts in C-4 and 10-50 violations of resort in C-2, development of an ordinance with procedures and fines for boat launch at Browns Beach and campsites at Point Return for non-payment, a revised ordinance to repeal another ordinance, an ordinance regarding the Mayor Salary for faultier position, a resolution for specific individuals or businesses able to do business with the city and a resolution for police surplus property.

The council will also discuss the Water and Sewer rate increase from Marion County Regional Water District which is raised 50 cents per thousand gallons starting July 1 and another 50 cents starting in Jan. 2026 which will result in the city paying about $4,000 more per month for water. Jerry Kopek, who did the Water/Sewer rate study for the city, will explain the rate study when he finishes with City of Summit the same night.

The council will also give an update stating the Police Department will start enforcements on weeds, tall grass, debris, garbage, etc., keeping ditches and culverts clear of debris blocking free flow of rainwear and any other ordinance violations. An ordinance will authorize the Bull Shoals Police to collect fines for city violations.

Other items up for discussion include hiring a lawyer for filing liens on unpaid bills owed to the city, renewal of the solid waste contract in September which will likely see an increase, a new building donated to the city and filling Council seat Ward 2 position 2 at the next regular council meeting.
