LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A lucky individual won big after the Kentucky Lottery drawing Tuesday evening.
The Kentucky Lottery announced that a winning ticket for $25,000 a year for life was sold at the Kroger on LaGrange Road in Louisville.
According to the announcement, the winner matched the first five numbers drawn in the “Lucky For Life” drawing but failed to match the lucky ball number, winning the second prize.
The lottery said the winner has an option to select a 20-year payout or elect for the $390,000 cash option.
Winners are advised to:
- Sign the back of their tickets
- Keep them in a secure location
- Claim their prize within 180 days of the drawing
This win marks the third $25,000-a-year-for-life ticket sold in Kentucky in 2025, according to the lottery. In 2024, over $1.5 billion in prizes was paid out.
