CHICAGO — A 39-year-old man was killed after being shot in the stomach on the city’s West Side.
The shooting happened around 10:45 a.m. Monday on the 3500 block of West Flournoy Street.
According to police, officers responded to a call of a person shot and discovered a 39-year-old man with a gunshot wound in the stomach.
He was transported in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
No offenders are in custody. Area Four detectives are investigating.
