Home invasion turns deadly in Tacony; two suspects wanted

(WPHL) — One man is dead and another is ungoing surgery in the hospital after two men invaded a home and began shooting.

According to Philadelphia police, the two men gained access to the home on the 7200 block of Walker Street just after 3 a.m.

Officers found a 49-year-old man in the basement of the home. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

The second man was found with a gunshot wound to his chest in the car outside the home.

Police are working on speaking to the surviving victim to understand what happened.
