(KRON) — Attorneys for California Gov. Gavin Newsom will face off Tuesday with lawyers for President Trump over whether the president has the legal authority to deploy the National Guard to the streets of Los Angeles.
Last Thursday, a federal judge ruled the president overstepped his authority, but the president appealed, and on Tuesday, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will review the matter.
