TOWANDA, BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) say a Wyoming County man after soliciting a trooper in participating in a murder for hire scheme.
According to the release, troopers arrested 25-year-old Matthew Bullock of Meshoppen on Thursday after he met with a member of the state police and solicited the member to participate in a murder for hire scheme.
Troopers say that the person Bullock was asking the trooper to murder was known by Bullock.
Bullock was charged with Criminal Solicitation of Criminal Homicide, and is currently being held at the Bradford County Correctional Facility.
Bullock’s bail was set at $1 million, but was denied due to the case involving solicitation for murder.
Bullock’s next court date is set for June 17 for his preliminary hearing.
