Police recover stolen items in Beloit; owners urged to come forward

BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Police in Beloit are hoping to reunite owners with their stolen property after a suspect was arrested for burglarizing cars.

According to the Town of Beloit Police Department, prior to 5 a.m. on Sunday morning, police arrested a suspect in the 1900 block of S. Harrison Avenue.

Police said the thief had been rummaging through unlocked cars.

Stolen items were recovered, but police said they had not yet identified who they belonged to. Anyone with missing items from their vehicles is asked to contact police at 608-757-2244.
