Man struck and killed by loose trailer wheel

FOURCHON, La (WGNO) — A man was struck and killed by a loose trailer wheel in Fourchon Friday, June 13.

According to Louisiana State Police, the incident resulted in the death of 69-year-old David Glenn of Magnolia, Texas.

LSP said Glenn was on the shoulder of Highway 1 while a Ford F-250 towing a boat trailer was traveling south. A wheel detached from the trailer’s axle and struck Glenn.

Glenn was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
