HODGENVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Campbellsville teen has died, and three others were taken to the hospital on Sunday afternoon after a crash on KY-210 in Larue County.
Kentucky State Police announced in a news release that around 12:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, deputies with the Larue County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) asked troopers for help investigating a single-vehicle crash near the 9000 block of KY-210 east of Hodgenville.
An initial investigation showed that a 17-year-old from Campbellsville was driving a 2012 Infiniti heading east when the car left the road for unknown reasons before hitting a guardrail and rolling over several times.
The 7-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene by the Larue County Coroner’s Office. An adult and two passengers were taken to the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, per state police.
The area of KY-210 where the crash happened was closed for several hours but has reopened.
