CHICAGO — Police are asking for help in the search for an endangered teen girl who officers said has been missing for several days.
According to Chicago police, 17-year-old Sirrena Jackson has been missing since around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11.
Officers said she was last seen near 57th Street Beach in Hyde Park.
Police described the teen as an “endangered missing juvenile,” though it is unclear exactly why.
The missing teen, who has red hair and brown eyes, stands 5-foot-4 and weighs around 100 pounds.
Additionally, the teen is known to have a tattoo on her right knee that reads “GCSY.”
Details about the missing teen’s disappearance were shared by police in a news release Friday afternoon, but officers did not say what she was last seen wearing.
