SOUTH BELOIT, Ill. (WTVO) — South Beloit Police arrested Jeffrey Samuel, 50, for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
On April 26, around 11:30 a.m., officers received reports that Samuel had bought the teen alcohol.
The suspect took the victim to a park and made inappropriate sexual advances toward the teen, according to court records.
A South Beloit Food and Liquors employee confirmed to authorities that he saw the teen outside of the business and Samuel purchasing alcohol on two different occasions.
Samuel is charged with criminal sexual assault without consent.
