(KRON) — A man has been charged with three counts of murder after a 33-year-old Napa woman was found dead at her home on Sunday. The woman, identified as Hailey Privett, was pregnant with twins at the time of her death, according to the Napa County District Attorney’s Office.
The suspect, Ernie Victor Solis, 40, of Napa, was arrested Monday night after the Napa Police Department requested the public’s assistance in locating him. Prosecutors alleged that Solis murdered Privett and her unborn babies on the morning of June 8. No further information regarding the homicide was released by authorities.
Solis was charged with three counts of murder and a special allegation of multiple murder, which carries the possibility of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole or the death penalty, according to the DA’s office.
“The suspect also faces allegations that the crimes are serious and violent felonies; involved the use of a deadly weapon; great bodily injury; violence, cruelty, viciousness or callousness; the use of a weapon; vulnerable victims; violent conduct; that he was in a position of trust; that the crimes increase in seriousness from past crimes; that he had a prior prison term, a prior strike, and prior poor performance on probation or parole,” the DA’s office wrote.
Solis is being held without bail at the Napa County Department of Corrections. His arraignment is set for June 17.
