INDIANAPOLIS – No one was hurt in a pair of separate overnight fires in Indianapolis.
Crews were dispatched around 4:15 a.m. to the 3900 block of Breen Drive. That’s near East 38th Street and North Post Road on the northeast side.
Firefighters from the Indianapolis Fire Department saw fire coming from a window in the apartment building. Three units were affected.
The cause remains under investigation.
About 90 minutes before that, crews were dispatched to a reported fire on the near southwest side.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. at a building in the 2500 block of Lambert Street near West Morris Street and South Belmont Avenue.
IFD said firefighters quickly extinguished a small fire. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters.
The fire remains under investigation.
