FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Mandatory evacuation orders have been issued in Fresno County after a wildfire erupted just outside Coalinga Thursday afternoon.
The sheriff’s office says the Firestone Fire began burning near Highway 198 and Firestone Avenue just after 4 p.m. It grew to 332 acres by 6 p.m., and no containment has been reported.
According to Cal Fire, mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for zones P19 and P20. Zones P23, P24, and P18 are under evacuation warnings. To find your zone, click here.
