
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — It is the first day of the Rocco’s College World Series Jello Shot Challenge, and LSU Tigers fans have not claimed the top spot, just yet.
In addition to LSU fans, Arkansas, Louisville, Arizona, UCLA, Coastal Carolina, Oregon State, and Murray State are participating in the challenge in Omaha.

According to a social media post from Rocco’s Pizza & Cantina on Thursday, Murray State University is in the lead with 173 Jello shots already being purchased.
Louisville snatched the second-place spot with 151 Jello shots.
The beloved LSU Tigers are in third place in the College World Series Jello Shot Challenge, with 140 shots being purchased.
What is the Jello Shot Challenge?
A friendly competition where fans can buy a Jello shot and add a tally shot to the College World Series team of their choice. Part of the proceeds go to the Omaha food bank and on-campus food banks of each participating team.
LSU fans were recently favored to win the challenge this year.
