By rssfeeds-admin NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A woman has been hospitalized following a shooting that happened in the Seventh Ward neighborhood of New Orleans on Thursday, June 12.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting, which happened at the intersection of Elysian Fields and N. Miro Street, was reported around 12 p.m.
On scene, a woman was found with at least one gunshot wound to her body. She was taken to a local hospital by New Orleans EMS.
