Repeat child sex offender found guilty of 2023 assault

CADDO PARISH (KTAL/KMSS) – A Shreveport man accused of raping a 16-year-old girl in 2023 was found guilty by a Caddo Parish jury.

The jury deliberated for more than two hours before finding Tra’tavion Jermaine Turner, 26, guilty of third-degree rape.

According to reports, the assault occurred after Turner asked to use the victim’s phone.
