(WHTM) — The Pennsylvania National Guard will have a presence at, but not in, the U.S. Army’s 250th Anniversary Parade on June 14, officials told abc27 News.
A Pennsylvania National Guard spokesperson said no Pennsylvania National Guard equipment or personnel are expected to participate.
“However, we are sending around 250 Soldiers to D.C. to support the D.C. National Guard’s traffic and crowd management mission, similar to the support we typically provide during presidential inaugurations,” the spokesperson said.
The parade will bring more than 150 armored vehicles, tanks, and more than 6,000 soldiers to the nation’s capital.
It will begin at 6:30 p.m. on June 14.
