Mountain View Corridor closing to all pass-through traffic for five weeks

SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (ABC4) — The city of Saratoga Springs announced that Mountain View Corridor is going to be closed to all pass-through traffic between Pioneer Crossing and Pony Express Parkway for approximately five weeks, beginning on June 16.

Saratoga Springs announced the closure in a social media post and stated that it is happening “due to unforeseen conflicts involving multiple third-party utilities.”

Residents will need to access their neighborhoods from the west, as shown in the map below.

The city also said that they expect 1200 N to reopen to local traffic after the first few weeks, and additional access points to neighborhoods should open as construction progresses.

According to the city, the good news about this closure is that it will allow for a “more aggressive construction schedule” and will help shorten the overall timeline of the project.

The city is also working closely with the Fire Department to make sure that emergency services are unaffected by the construction.
