On June 9, around 6 p.m., officers were called to the 1100 block of Evans Avenue for reports of domestic violence. The victim told authorities that McDonald shoved her into a refrigerator and hit her in the back with a chair.
The suspect left the house on an electric bike, the woman reported to officials.
Deputies later found McDonald at a home in the 300 block of East Greenview Avenue and took him into custody.
The suspect denied hitting the victim with a chair.
McDonald has four prior convictions for domestic battery, according to court records.
He is charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman and two counts of domestic battery that caused contact, while having four prior convictions.
