Dîner en Blanc returns in August with some Gatsby flare

As one of the most anticipated events of the summer, Dîner en Blanc is returning to Philly in August, with a jazzy twist.

The event will take place on August 21 at a new secret location in Philadelphia.

Building on the 100th Anniversary of The Great Gatsby, “Dîner en Blanc Philadelphia guests will enjoy an evening of elegance, community, and Jazz Age flair”.

Guests will enjoy “an evening of French flair, delicious food and drink, and a vibrant atmosphere as attendees come together to enjoy delightful company and the magic of this unique tradition, all with a touch of Gatsby elegance.”

“We are thrilled to bring Dîner en Blanc back to Philadelphia for its 13th year on August 21st. We have also added the theme “100 Years of Gatsby” to this year’s event. 1925 was a seminal year with the publication of The Great Gatsby (while Fitzgerald was living in Paris) and the Paris Exposition of Decorative Arts, which launched “Art Deco” style and introduced the world to The Charleston and Josephine Baker.
