Months later, Shreveport man is apprehended and charged with rape of minor

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Shreveport Police have arrested a man in connection with a rape case involving a minor.

Christopher Stark was arrested on Tuesday, June 10th, for a sexual assault incident involving a 15-year-old minor. The incident reportedly took place in January in the 2400 block of Lakeshore Drive. According to police, an arrest warrant was issued for Stark after detectives obtained crucial DNA evidence related to the case.

Stark has been charged with one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of third-degree rape. If convicted, he could face up to 25 years in prison.
