REEDLEY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two men are being accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a hardware store in Reedley, the city’s police department said.

Officers and Fresno County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm activation at Golden Valley Ace Hardware in the 900 block of Manning Avenue on Tuesday before 4:50 a.m.

Responding officers reported finding that the front window of the business had been shattered and the store had been ransacked. Preliminary investigation revealed that two men had forced entry into the business and stolen approximately $2,000 worth of tools.

Police say the two suspects, identified as Deeshawn Green and Paul Weatherson, were taken into custody with the assistance of the Fresno County Adult Compliance Team.
