Man found dead in river in South Philadelphia

(WPHL) — A man has been found dead in the river in South Philadelphia, police say.

Emergency responders found the man in the river on 2400 South 26th Street at 5:48 p.m.

He was pronounced dead at 6:37 p.m.

Police say the man’s identity has not been revealed, and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation by South Detectives.
