Loves Park man accused of beating a child with disabilities
Loves Park man accused of beating a child with disabilities
LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Loves Park Police arrested Miguel Hoffman, 36, for allegedly beating a child with disabilities.

Officers were called to the 5200 block of Stonecrest Street to follow up on a domestic battery case the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) was involved in.

Reports showed that a 10-year-old boy suffered a black eye at the hands of Hoffman. The victim has autism, according to court records.

DCFS has investigated Hoffman 24 times, caseworkers confirmed.

Hoffman is charged with aggravated battery of a child with disabilities and domestic battery that caused bodily harm.
