Gov. Henry McMaster bobbleheads for sale at South Carolina State House

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSPA) — The hottest item at the South Carolina State House is not a bill — it’s a bobblehead of Governor Henry McMaster.

The merchandise is being sold exclusivement at the building’s gift shop. All proceeds from the store help support operations for South Carolina State Parks.

The bobblehead went on sale last month and as of Tuesday, 40 have sold.

When asked about the collectable figurine, the governor called it “interesting.”

“I may have to get a couple for my grandchildren,” he added.

Want to grab one for yourself or a friend? The state house gift shop is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on most Saturdays.
