Casey’s Pub in Loves Park announces permanent closure

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — The owners of Casey’s Pub announced the sudden permanent closure of the bar on Tuesday.

According to a Facebook post, the bar’s lease was to end at the end of the month, but a disagreement with the property owner forced the early closure.

“Who knows maybe we pop up somewhere else,” the owners wrote.

Casey’s Pub was known for its live music, and all upcoming live events have been canceled due to the closure.

Park Lanes, at 5318 N 2nd Street, appealed to any act or performer who had an event scheduled at Casey’s in 2025 to reach out to see if they could be rescheduled at the bowling alley.

Casey’s Pub was located at 7307 N Alpine Road.
