Two bags of weed, digital scale found in Colma traffic stop
(KRON) – Two large bags of marijuana and a digital scale were found in a Colma traffic stop last week, according to police.

Colma police officers noticed a vehicle committing a traffic violation while traveling eastbound near Junipero Serra and Colma boulevards at approximately 1:01 p.m. on Friday.

Police pulled the car over and smelled a “strong odor of freshly burnt marijuana.” A man was driving, and a woman was in the passenger seat.

The driver was identified as a 26-year-old San Francisco resident who was on pre-trial general supervision out of the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, which allowed officers to search him and the vehicle. Colma PD said officers found two plastic bags containing large quantities of marijuana buds, marijuana dispensary packaging bags, an excess amount of cash and a digital scale.

He was arrested for possessing marijuana for sale and having more than an ounce of marijuana. Colma police said he was issued a citation and released on his promise to appear in court.
