Boaters are expected to hit the water by the dozens. But you don’t have to be in the water to enjoy the event. There will be a boat parade, food, live entertainment, fireworks and more.
“There will be people cruising around, a poker run, and there’s bands playing and all this excitement,” says Eric Sullivan, member of Cross Lake Floatilla Board of Directors.
Gates open at 8 a.m. at El Karubah Shriners on 6230 S. Lakeshore Dr. in Shreveport and the fun will go on past sunset.
Proceeds benefit multiple local organizations like The Hub, Shriners Children’s, Jewell House, Heart of Hope Maternity, Ninna’s Road to Rescue, Pet Savers, and Woody’s Home for Veterans.
