Pilates studio in Clovis is making waves

CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A new pilates studio in Clovis is making waves not just for its workouts but for its mission.

Nest Pilates opened its doors on June 2nd with a commitment to inclusivity, wellness, and giving back.

At Nest Pilates, clients don’t just stretch- they show up, feel seen, and belong.

“I love coming here because I feel like it feels very inclusive,” said Estephani Rodriguez. “I used to go to another party’s studio before, and I didn’t have a really good experience.

Owner Tate Musch says the pilates world often caters to a narrow image.

“It tends to be very thin-washed, pretty whitewashed, so I really wanted to create a place that made everyone, regardless of kind of what your exterior appearances, feel like this is a place that they can come,” said Musch. 

The pilates studio has 34 weekly classes, including hard-to-find Sunday sessions built for flexibility with several membership options and single class drop-ins. 

“I really like the vibes here, the teachers are really sweet, they’re really nice and they’re very helpful, I barely started doing it and I love it,” said Rodriguez.

Musch has been teaching for years, but her mission doesn’t stop at movement. That care includes philanthropy, with clients nominating local charities and then hosting donation-based classes. This month, four of them are scheduled, with every dollar going to causes that matter.

“The LGBTQ community is so important to me personally, “said Musch. “I decided to partner with PFLAG, they’re an incredible organization. They’re all about creating a more just and caring world for members of the LGBTQ community and their family.”

Nest Pilates is now open 7 days a week, and welcomes all bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels. They are located in Clovis at 1455 Herndon Ave, Suite 103.
