New Orleans born, raised and living cast of stars in ‘Aint Misbehavin’

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — With a cast of all New Orleans born and raised and living stars, it’s no wonder you’ll be tapping your toes and singing on the sidewalk in the French Quarter when you leave Le Petit Theatre.

And right here, WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is saving you a seat.

It’s a seat for “Ain’t Misbehavin’.”

It won a Tony on Broadway in 1978, and now it’s on stage at Le Petit Theatre through Sunday, June 22.

It’s a musical.

The music all is a tribute to jazz man and musical legend Fats Waller.

He was a piano-playing singer and composer who wrote more than 400 songs.

You’ve heard “Honeysuckle Rose,” Waller wrote that.

This show is the season finale at Le Petit Theatre.
