Heavy storms likely Tuesday afternoon

(KLFY) — Tuesday is starting much quieter in Acadiana compared to Monday morning but a few showers or storms are still possible. Heavy showers and storms are expected later today and should be widespread as rain chances increase to 70% after 11 a.m. There is a low risk for severe weather and a few slow moving storms could produce localized flooding. Otherwise, temperatures reach the upper 80s today followed by rained-cooled air before this evening.
