ChatGPT is experiencing a major outage: What we know so far

(WPHL) — OpenAI’s chatbot, ChatGPT, is currently experiencing a major outage.

According to OpenAI’s status website, the system is experiencing “elevated error rates”.

The outage has been ongoing for 5 hours, but it is not currently known what caused it.

According to Downdetector, over 1200 customers have reported issues starting around 2:37 a.m. on June 10.

OpenAI has addressed the outage with a statement on their website saying, “Some users are experiencing elevated error rates and latency across the listed services. We are continuing to investigate this issue”.
