LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man has been arrested after an undercover drug investigation in southeastern Kentucky.

The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation began in 2024 in Laurel County.

According to the sheriff’s office, 68-year-old Chester Glenn Couch was arrested on Thursday after officials executed a search warrant at a home in Perry County.

Reportedly, officials found over 2,000 prescription pills, around 120 firearms, suspected meth, and a large amount of cash.

Couch was charged with the following:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first degree – first offense – opiates (2 counts)
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – third degree – first offense
  • Possession of a controlled substance – first degree – first offense – methamphetamine

Couch was lodged in the Kentucky River Regional Jail.
