By rssfeeds-admin HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Madisonville Police Department (MPD) said a man was arrested on charges related to sexual abuse.
MPD said it began investigating a complaint on June 7 regarding a sexual assault that occurred in Madisonville.
According to officers, a juvenile approached them to report Jason Thompson, 47, allegedly sexually abused them on about four separate occasions occurring in the past three months.
Police said Thompson was interviewed at MPD and was asked about the incident.
Thompson allegedly acknowledged that the incident happened, according to authorities. However, Thompson reportedly suggested that the victim was the one who came on to him.
Thompson was jailed in Hopkins County on the charges of rape and sodomy.
