Hundreds of protesters hit the streets of San Francisco to protest ICE raids

(KRON) — Hundreds of protesters flooded the streets of downtown San Francisco Sunday night to protest President Donald Trump’s ongoing deportation policies in front of the city’s U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office.

Organizers say they’re marching in solidarity with the ongoing ICE protests in Los Angeles. The protest in San Francisco started peacefully until the marchers moved toward a police blockade.

Following a standoff with police, marchers moved down Market Street. Images from the scene show a small number of protesters smashing windows and spray painting local businesses and city property along the thoroughfare.
