In a post from Weber Fire District, units from Weber Fire, Ogden City Fire and Hill Air Force Base Fire responded to a report of a fast-moving grass fire in Prevedel Park around 7:45 p.m. Friday.
Fire officials say thick, black smoke was visible from a distance. When crews arrived, they found a fast-moving fire that had trapped four campers. Firefighters were able to quickly split resources to evacuate the campers and knock down the fire.
