Wolfe County man accused of child abuse

WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Wolfe County man was arrested on Friday on multiple charges in connection with a child abuse investigation.

According to court records, Jonathan King, 33, was charged with:

  • Two counts of first-degree criminal abuse of a child under age 12
  • Two counts of first-degree strangulation
  • First-degree rape
  • First-degree unlawful imprisonment
  • Third-degree terroristic threatening.

King was lodged at the Scott County Detention Center on Friday.

He is due in court on Wednesday, June 11.
