The hospital is the only children’s hospital in Louisiana recognized in neonatology. It is also the most awarded pediatric hospital in the state, Ochsner said.
“At Ochsner Children’s, our teams move mountains to deliver exceptional care and experiences for every child and their family,” said Dana Bledsoe, CEO of Ochsner Children’s.
The Newsweek list ranks the top hospitals in eight pediatric subspecialties using data from hospital quality metrics, nationwide surveys of healthcare professionals, patient experience surveys, and a voluntary Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) implementation survey.
“Ochsner Children’s is truly honored to be the only children’s hospital in Louisiana ranked by both Newsweek and U.S. News and World Report,” said Dr. Vincent “Butch” Adolph, chief medical officer at Ochsner Children’s. “This dual recognition reflects our dedication to excellence in complex, comprehensive pediatric care.
