In an exclusive interview with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News, Magness says the Border Patrol team that arrived today was a big help in finding Hardin.
No other details about his capture have been released. Magness says he was on his way to a briefing to get more details.
Hardin escaped the afternoon of May 25 when he was dressed as a law enforcement officer, walked to an exit gate, the gate was remotely opened from the control tower and Hardin left on foot.
Hardin was sentenced to 30 years in prison in 2017 for first degree murder. In 2019, he received a 30 year sentence for rape.
