Thirsty Thursday: Portland brewery, non-profit budding new collaboration

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland-based Duality Brewing is saying “cheers” to its new budding partnership with local non-profit Growing Gardens.

The Kerns neighborhood brewery is hosting a special event on Wednesday, June 25, highlighting a new edible garden space at the business’ space and a new beer to mark the collaboration.

Duality Brewing owner Mike Lockwood, development manager of Growing Gardens Thuy Pham and food pop-up owner John Boisse of Astral, joined us on AM Extra’s Thirsty Thursday to explain how they plan to use the garden to add some flavor to their menu and tap list.
