The crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 18 and Midway Road in Hinds County on June 5.
Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said the school bus was occupied by two adults and one child. All three occupants of the bus, along with the pickup truck driver, were transported to a local hospital for medical evaluations. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.
Hinds County Sheriff Tyree Jones said the driver of the pickup truck was an off-duty transportation detention officer on his way to work.
