Wednesday will open on a dreary, soggy note with numerous showers and possible thunderstorms continuing for a good portion of the morning commute. There could also be locally heavy downpours, which are definitely needed.
For the year-to-date, the precipitation tally of 9.50″ is more than 5.50″ below normal. Rain chances drop off as we move into the afternoon and evening. There could be a peak of sun at that time.

Wednesday temperatures will be markedly cooler with no repeat of the near 90-degrees observed on Tuesday. The day’s high temperature will occur during the early morning hours while most of us are sleeping. Readings will fall quickly into the lower 60s by midday and stay there much of the afternoon with northerly winds blowing in out of Canada.
