BARNESVILLE – If you were looking for a place to swim this week, Tuscarora State Park is out for now.
The beach is closed to swimming due to resampling requirements, DCNR said Tuesday.
The closure is a precaution and the beach will remain closed until “acceptable water sample results are received.”
Signs are posted at the park entrance and at the beach.
Other activities at the park — camping, picnicking, hiking, and fishing — are unaffected.
