Rockford man accused of invading a woman's house, attacking her: Police
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Jason Barnett, 42, for attacking a woman after damaging her car, according to court records.

Officers were called to Hulin Street for reports of a home invasion on May 29, around 4:30 a.m.

The victim told officials that Barnett damaged her vehicle and the door to a house she was staying at. The woman’s SUV was dented, and the door was damaged when authorities investigated.

Court records show that Barnett pushed the victim before leaving the residence.

The suspect was eventually taken into custody and booked into the Winnebago County Jail on June 4th.

Barnett is charged with domestic battery that caused bodily harm, criminal trespassing to a residence, home invasion that caused injury and two counts of criminal property damage.
