Live music acts announced for Rockford’s 2025 4th of July Celebration of Freedom

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The performers scheduled to bring live music to Rockford’s 61st Fourth of July Celebration of Freedom have been announced.

This year, the annual fireworks display will be fired off from the Jefferson Street Bridge, a change from prior years. Fireworks were shot from the bridge over 25 years ago.

Davis Park, the traditional home to the celebration, is currently undergoing a $12 million renovation project.

Before the fireworks, revelers in downtown on Friday, July 4th, can attend performances by the following live acts:

4:30 pm – DJ Roland Stone, Joe Marino Statue – Parade Master of Ceremonies
5:00 pm – That 70’s Band, City Market Pavilion Main Stage
7:00 pm – On The Rocks, City Market Pavilion Main Stage
7:00 pm – Mr. Ed, Beattie Park Gazebo
9:30 pm – Fireworks

The 2025 Celebration of Freedom fireworks program will be live-streamed on MyStateline.com.
