Award-winning restaurant closing its only Pennsylvania location

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WHTM) — An award-winning restaurant that boasts over a dozen locations across the United States will be closing its sole Pennsylvania establishment.

Del Frisco’s Grille, a multi-award-winning American bar and grill that is known for offering elevated handcrafted cocktails and modern menu options, is slated to close its only location in Pennsylvania.

According to a WARN Notice filed with the Department of Labor & Industry, the Del Frisco’s Grille location at 225 South Broad Street in Philadelphia will be closing its doors later this summer.

As a result of the closure, 51 employees will be affected.

Per the WARN Notice, the closure is set to begin on July 31, 2025, and end on August 3, 2025.

According to the Del Frisco’s Grille website, the restaurant also has 13 other locations that are scattered across the country, in states such as Texas, Massachusetts, Florida, New York, Tennessee, New Jersey, and Colorado.

Currently, Del Frisco’s Grille in Philadelphia remains open and operational.

It is still unknown why Del Frisco’s Grille has decided to close its sole Pennsylvania location.
