The rock hunt kicks off on June 11 and is open to anyone who’d like to participate. Three small rocks will be hidden throughout eastern Idaho, each of which is worth a cash prize. A fourth, larger rock is worth up to $15,000. The maximum prize amount is available to those wearing a Bodifi rock hunt t-shirt. The prize amount varies, depending on whether an individual or group finds it.

The three small rocks are worth $1,000 each if one person wearing a T-shirt finds them, $1,500 each if a group wearing T-shirts finds them, and $500 each if an individual without a T-shirt finds them.

Similarly, the large rock is worth $10,000 if an individual wearing a T-shirt finds it. If a group wearing Bodifi T-shirts finds it, the prize is $15,000.

The shirts are available at any Bodifi location for $20.

Clues will be given on the Bodifi app and social media pages every day until the rock is found. Clues will come out on the app an hour before they’re posted on social media.

Bodifi Marketing director Ethan Pabst tells EastIdahoNews.com this year’s rock hunt is its most anticipated to date and he’s excited for it to get underway.

“The main idea behind this is to give back to the community,” Pabst says. “We really take pride in the atmosphere we create for our members … and our number one priority is to give back to (express appreciation for their support).”

The first rock hunt was held in 2021. The amount of participation prompted the company to bring it back the following year. It’s now an annual tradition.

More than a week before the 2025 event kicks off, Pabst is encouraging those who want to participate to get started early and check the clues frequently to ensure no one has found the prizes.

“Get outside and enjoy time with family, which is another big reason for this,” says Pabst.

He’s asking anyone who shares their experience with the rock hunt on social media to tag Bodifi so they can compile a library of public comments for marketing purposes.
