On the morning of June 2, the Scurry County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possibly deceased individual near the intersection of FM 1606 and County Road 394, southwest of Snyder. First responders arrived at the scene and confirmed the man was deceased. His identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
The Scurry County Sheriff’s Office is working in partnership with the Texas Rangers to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. At this time, no additional details have been made public.
